FURNITURE: the physical, political, social and philosophical relationships of objects to bodies through material mediation.  The studio will investigate physical forces and material properties to develop a methodology of design. The student’s investigation will utilize performative materials, joinery, pattern-making, versioning and prototyping techniques to produce full scale objects.
