Lambdin Residence
Baltimore, Maryland
Unbuilt, 2007
Utility elements of a townhouse were relocated centrally; allowing an extension of living areas to the garden on both public and private levels. A small greenhouse was incorporated as part of the storage cabinetry of the lower space. The cabinetry design included radius frames with inset panels to soften edges in the compact house. Detailing of vein alignment in stone work and coordinating wood graining enhanced the relationship of interior and exterior.
